Green Cloud Expands in Florida with New Regional Office and Two Sales Executives

Greenville, SC – January 2, 2013 – @PR2WEB -  Green Cloud Technologies, a Cloud technology solutions provider headquartered in Greenville, SC, has opened a new office in the Tampa, FL.  This office, centrally located at 1228 East 7th Avenue in Tampa, will market Green Cloud’s portfolio of cloud-based IT solutions to channel partners and small and medium-sized businesses in the northern panhandle, central and southern regions of Florida.

Green Cloud, which recently raised an additional $2.75mm for market expansion, offers managed IT and telecom services including virtual server, virtual PBX and disaster recovery products. With regional offices in Greenville, SC, Charleston, SC and Nashville, TN, the new Tampa location expands Green Cloud’s strategic Southeastern footprint.

“Every business needs a business continuity plan during a natural or manmade disaster and it’s even more critical for those with costal markets, like Florida” says Charles Houser, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Green Cloud’s core products provide an affordable disaster recovery plan for small and medium-sized companies.”

To recruit new partners in this region, Green Cloud has hired Stephen Rieck as regional vice president of sales.  He will focus on sales of the company’s cloud-based IT solutions and will be responsible for identifying, engaging and supporting dealer managers and sales partners in the Florida region.  With more than 24 years of experience in the telecom industry, Rieck was vice president of the channel partner program at Windstream (formerly Nuvox Communications) before joining Green Cloud.

By providing customers with the level of service and support they deserve, Stephen has built strong long-term relationships with channel partners in the region," says Houser. "He has earned the reputation of being one of the top leaders in the industry and he is a great addition to the Green Cloud team.”

In addition, Green Cloud has added Greg Eckley as national channel manager.  He will be based out of the Tampa office and will focus on sales of the company's Virtual Server, Disaster Recovery, and Virtual PBX solutions through recruiting and engaging sales partners.  Prior to joining Green Cloud, Eckley was senior district dealer manager at Windstream (formerly Nuvox Communications) for more than 12 years. “Greg’s experience building top-performing sales teams makes him one of the best channel managers in the industry,” says Houser.  “We are extremely excited to add Greg to the Green Cloud team.”
